First of all, the barreAstié will tell you how your body is feeling today.
You feel the movement of the joints, the balance between left and right, the state of the muscles and your body moves in that direction to bring you back to a reset state. The movements of the method are simple and easy to move through as you gradually move from one movement to the next, and it is a very artistic method that allows you to train your flexibility and strength in a pleasant dancing sensation.
When I used to have a shoulder injury, the only thing that kept me going was the barreAstié movement. This helped me a lot because even when I couldn’t move my shoulder at all, I could also move the parts around my shoulder. I have a greater range of movement than I had in my shoulder before my recovery. barreAstié is also useful for people who need rehabilitation.
After receiving the Diploma, I started having lesson classes and felt the changes in my students’ bodies. I have learnt a lot.
I want to continue to dance in good health and with enjoyment, while taking care of my physical foundations.

I have studied and faced ballet for so long; but shortly after learning the Barre Astié, I developed other sensations in my body. The first was the external rotation of the hip joint. The others concern the release points and the starting points which concern the work of the muscles. I was able to learn theoretically and reasonably. It is a physical exercise which, in addition, gives me the possibility of a pleasant sensation and the joy of dancing. There is no better training than the Astié Barre. I would like to thank Mr. Astié. I will always be grateful to him.

After working as a yoga instructor for 20 years and enjoying ballet, I injured my knee. This led me to study ballet anatomy, and I found myself drawn to Barre Astié. Barre Astié also helped me rehabilitate my injury and was well-received by many students. I also had the opportunity to share it with people like myself who have injuries or physical issues.Currently, while continuing to teach, I have created a theater company and am discovering the wonders of expressing myself through Barre Astié
